Mark Pimental’s journey began long before Silver Seniors existed. In 1999, he opened his first business — Landmark Motors on Nevada Avenue in Colorado Springs. What started as a small independent car dealership grew into three locations over 12 years, powered not by aggressive sales tactics, but by Mark’s ability to study human behavior and understand people at their core.

Instead of exploiting subprime customers with high interest rates, Mark created his own in‑house financing program and charged 0% interest. He chose to trust hardworking people who had taken a tough break in life — and they proved him right. Accounts receivable grew, the business expanded, and thousands of people got back on their feet without being crushed by predatory lending.

That was the first sign of the mission that would come decades later.

From Business Owner to Social Worker

In 2022, Mark made a bold move: he went back to school full‑time at Pikes Peak State College to study social work. Courses like psychology, sociology, statistics, English composition, American government, and public speaking reshaped his understanding of society and deepened his ability to analyze human behavior.

To support himself through school, Mark became a GrubHub driver — and that’s where everything changed.

Driving through neighborhoods, delivering to seniors, and seeing their living conditions firsthand, Mark discovered a painful truth:

Mark stays active playing ice hockey, golf, skiing, and enjoying the natural beauty of Colorado Springs.
